Aiza Soherwardy has claimed the USC Upstate Regional Spelling Bee Championship!! Aiza competed against 67 other top spellers from across our region. She will be heading to Washington, DC to represent South Carolina in May. Way to represent, Azia. We are so proud of you!

Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Champion, Aiza Soherwardy, and runner up, Ashna Thadani! Way to go Bearcats!

Amazing job by our Chorus program tonight under the direction of Mrs. Shaw! The incredible Bearcats have earned the following awards already this season:
- 54 selected for Dawkins Honor Choir
- 23 selected for SC ACDA State Honor Choir
- 5 selected for National ACDA Honor Choir (out of thousands of auditionees)

The book fair will be open November 28 - December 5 in the Dawkins library.

Due to expected weather, 7th and 8th grade football teams will play Wednesday, Sept. 28 at McCracken. 7th grade kickoff will be at 4:30. 8th grade kickoff will be at 6:30.

Monday, September 26 is Dawkins PTO night at Apollo's! Come support our PTO by dining in or carrying out at Apollo's House of Pizza. A portion of the proceeds will go to our PTO. Go Bearcats!

Cheerleading tryouts will be August 9-11. August 9 from 9:00-11:00AM. August 10 & 11 from 1:00-3:00PM.
